2026 Spring Flag Football

Welcome to Clover Hill Sports Association Spring 2026 Flag Football!!!

Affiliation:  Football teams compete in the Chesterfield Quarterback League (CQL). CHSA conducts registration, selects coaches, forms teams and provides uniforms/equipment. Game schedules and rules are provided by the league.

Eligibility: Children ages 5-15 as of July 31st 2026, who live within the Grange Hall, Clover Hill, Alberta Smith, Winterpock, Wooldridge, and Amelia Elementary School attendance boundary or any school that does not have a home association. We welcome kids from all surrounding counties as well.

As per the CQL by-laws we must have on file a copy of your player's state issued child ID card prior to the season start. You can visit: https://www.dmv.virginia.gov/drivers/#id/child_id.asp on how you can obtain a card if your player does not already have one. Passports and military IDs are not acceptable forms of ID.

CQL Parent Code of Conduct:

Fees:  Players participating in the spring flag league (7U, 9U, 11U, 13U, 15U) will be charged $140 

Equipment:  Players are required to provide their own cleats and black athletic shorts. The Association will provide league approved uniform shirts, flags and flag belts. Mouth guards are required and the responsibility of the child's parent. 

Age is as of July 31st, 2026.

Team Selection:  There are no try-outs and no cuts. All players are given the opportunity to be on a team.

Coaches: WE NEED FOOTBALL COACHES ALL LEVELS!!! All coaches will need to get their coaching cards from Chesterfield County. You can find more information on this through the link below:

Season: Practice will start March 10th. Games will be played on Saturdays beginning in mid April. A championship Tournament is TBD. 7U plays 11v11, same rules as fall. All others play 7v7

Practice:  Practices will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7:30/8:00 (coach's discretion) Practice location Grange Hall Elementary football field.

2026 Spring Cheer

*Spring cheer is perfect for first time cheerleaders! It will be sideline cheer only. No competitions. Ages 5-14 welcome*

Registration Fee: Cost is $150 per participant.

Practices/Games: Games will be on Saturdays beginning on 4/11/26. Practice will be on Tuesdays at Grange Hall ES field from 6-7:30 and begin on March 17th.

Uniforms: Each child will receive a t-shirt, hoodie, shorts, and bow to wear for games (included in registration fee). Parents will need to purchase black leggings/athletic pants, and white athletic tennis shoes to be worn at games as well.

Coaches: All coaches and team moms are volunteers. We are always actively looking for help. We need at least two coaches per level. Please reach out to the cheer director, Brigette, at [email protected] to see where help is needed.

2026 Spring Baseball

Welcome to Spring 2026 baseball with Clover Hill!

We offer baseball through our league partnership through Chesterfield Baseball Clubs (CBC). For more information on rules and frequently asked questions, please visit: https://www.cbcbaseball.org/

Players age is as of April 30th, 2026.

Practices will start at the beginning of March. Practice days and times will be announced once teams are formed, and Parks and Rec has given practice field assignments.

Games will start after spring break, early April. Exact schedule TBD by the league.

We need volunteers! We run entirely on volunteers. We need coaches and team parents! Please email [email protected] with questions or inquiries on how you can help!

Uniforms will be provided. Fitting day TBD typically mid February.

2026 Spring Softball

Welcome to Spring 2026 Softball! 🥎
We’re excited to kick off another great season!

Season Timing
Practices will begin in early March. Exact days and times will be shared once we confirm field availability with CYSA and the county.
Games are expected to start toward the end of March, possibly the week before spring break.

Uniforms
Jersey, pants, socks, and belt will be provided.
Please include your player’s sizes during registration; we will confirm them at uniform fittings.

Team Parent – Assist with dugout management, communication, and planning an end-of-season celebration.
